Over the past two years, I have advocated against illegal boarding house operators who exploit vulnerable students and who have reckless disregard to the amenity of our local area.

Late last year, at the request of the Premier, The Social Policy Committee conducted an inquiry into International Student Accommodation in New South Wales, which took submissions from residents across NSW, universities, boarding house operators, consulate generals and councils, including the Ryde local area.
